Bastoyne is not a bad town to base yourself in.quite a few museums to see if you like ww2 stuff.a few of us were there earlier in the year.we were in durbuy and just used any roads we came across.nice area.

i was reading something about this recently,something on the lines of,if i turn left out of my drive it wont cost me any money.if i turn right,eg to go to b and q[other diy shops are available]. then a 2 quid paintbrush could cost you 14.50.feckin madnesss.im glad i dont live dahn sarf.

if i where you i would find a bnb in the meols hoylake area[wirral side].then get the train in to town,about 25-30 mins.liverpool is no worse or better than any other city,but im a believer in staying out of cities if im on the bike.

cai dai camping denbigh. very basic site,but lovely location in some woods.hammock or tent.fires allowed,and a tenner a night.

annan/borders. small quiet site £10 per night,5 min walk to pub,town. galabank camping and caravan site.
