Re: New Tenere 700
Has anyone managed to place an order through the Yamaha website? I have configured a bike but there doesn't seem to be any way of ordering the bike as suggested by the website. Go on to the Yamaha website, get to the U.K. part and select Tenere 700 from the Adventure Bike section. Scroll down a fai...

Re: Is the TRF still worth joining?
Hi thanks for all of the useful comments and invitations, I am amazed at the amount of replies, this is a lively forum. I have managed to ride a few trails that I have found fairly locally using OSMaps and ABR magazine features, and absolutely love it. I will definitely be joining the TRF soon, both...

Is the TRF still worth joining?
With all of the negative comments in the TRF website thread I am having second thoughts about joining the local (Worcester) TRF. I'm not really interested in the politics but would like to meet some like minded individuals to go trail riding with and most importantly help support a group dedicated t...

Re: ABR Festival 2019 - Who's Going
I have booked up, can't wait. I think my last ABR rally was in 2010 in the lake district.
Since buying the 2019 tickets I have bought a CRF250L for trail riding, the rally was the final push that I needed
I wish I had done it ages ago, well done ABR team

Trail riders in Worcestershire/West Midlands
Following on from my "thinking of buying a CRF" thread, are there on trail riders on here from the SW Midlands?

Re: CRF250L and green lanes
From what I have read and seen on YouTube changing the exhaust, doing an air box mod and lowering the gearing by one tooth makes a big improvement. I think half of the appeal is that you have room to develop it

Re: CRF250L and green lanes
Thanks for the replays, I'm becoming more tempted. Harvey, I too am factoring in a lot of extras, it might not make economic sense but this would never be a rational decision anyway.
I would be grateful for the list of sites Harvey and thanks for the link PaulH

CRF250L and green lanes
Hi, Im toying with the idea of a CRF250L for some gentle green laning, I just wondered what experiences the ABR crew can share.
Im not bothered about speed, just enjoying the scenery on a bike that doesn't need rebuilding every 5 minutes.

Re: TomTom Rider 400 - Any good?
Hi, I have a Rider 400 and find it is really good. I have used the winding routes feature and it has taken me on some stunning rides. The updates are quick and reliable, the only downside for me is that the mount is weak. The lever on the quick release broke off after just a couple of months light u...
