Technology is fine as long as it comes with choice. You should be able to buy your bike equipped as it suits you and then, if it breaks, you should be able to get round it or fix it yourself rather than have it cross it's arms and a "please return to dealer" light come on. As said in a pre...

Mud. You go in it. What's not to like? The trick is having a bike that is easy to pick up out of the sludge. I agree with Fern, I'm 5'6" tall and had a DT125R for the L-plate period on then had a DR-Z400S. You soon learn to deal with it.

That looks like great fun, unfortunately they won't let you run on a 98cc bike, 125cc is the smallest apparently (if the video is to be believed) otherwise I would like to come. I'll just have to get a bigger off-roader. Not kidding either, looks fantastic fun.
