Re: Ace Cafe Adventure Day

DSCF1298.JPG Yes good day out, just need to work out how I am going to afford new panniers! Matal Mule look great but £1200-£1300 for a 800gs! Stahlkoffer panniers look like good value, anyone tried them? VR rider on here had a set of the Stahlkoffers for sale for the 800GS, could bag yourself a ba...

Re: Ace Cafe London - Overland Adventure Tour Bike Day

Nice last pic Brown Dog! That's my 800, first proper ride on it today. Took me about 30 minutes, two mugs of tea and a full english to warm up, and that was only 130 miles from Weymouth. Heated vest for the Elephant rally next year I reckon. First te at the ACE and was good to see what people had do...

Hello all heading up to the ACE this weekend from sunny Weymouth, wondered if there was any of us Dorset/Southwesters fancied meeting up on route?

Re: Which luggage

Cheers for the response guys,
Going to buck the trend and go for the wolfman soft set up and try to travel light. Will stick some photos on and do a review when I've got them and used them in anger. Going to the ACE this weekend so hopefully catch some of yah then

Cheers again

Which luggage

Help, I've narrowed it down to two options I think, Wolfman expedition (with frames), or stahlkoffers. Both come in at about the same price, Wolfmans bit cheaper. Doing the Stella in July and hope to build up onto more challenging stuff the following year. I'm on a big arsed 800GS, so the Stahlkoffe...

Re: Bike Show Excel Today

Went to the show on Friday, dissapointed KTM were'nt there. Did enjoy the show though and got to see and no doubt get myself some Stahlkoffer products. I like to fondle somthing before parting with my hard earned for it. NEC has deffinately got worse over the years, so a train up to london with a co...

Re: Triumph 800XC would you buy one ?

It would be a boring world if we all liked the same bike, and what about the damage to the aftermarket parts sector. It's great to see a British bike firm doing so well. It's MCN's blind bias that twists my melons. Had a KTM Superduke beautiful, quality parts and complete madness, Speed Tripple best...
