May be a bit of a trek but BMAD festival in Paignton is usually worth a look, not if you are looking for peace and quiet though!

Mmmmm, possibly moving to the Isle of Wight next year and will be looking for a smaller cc bike to bimble around the island on, the more I read about the Himalayan the higher up my list of potentials it gets.....

Used a 400 for my first Euro trip and it was perfect, never failed me and always put me right very quickly when I took the odd unintentional detour, like you I find the TT interface a lot easier to use than Garmin Trouble is they are quite pricey new, I picked mine up second hand off this very forum...
