Re: Managed Motorways

Mike[/quote] The second statement I have quoted here is indeed true. But the bus driver in this crash was on a managed motorway, and he thought the hard shoulder was open for use. Had this not been on a managed motorway, he would have known without doubt the hard shoulder was not open for traffic, t...

Re: Any audiophile / Hi Fi guru here ??

If you are looking for a good music sound stay clear of desktop gaming speakers and look for something more audio biased. personally I would forget about a sub woofer under your desk and invest in a good quality second hand amp (NAD / Marantz) off ebay and get some bookshelf speakers (again second h...

Re: Weird feelings on TKC70

I dont have any experience of these tyres but a mate of mine swears by them, sounds weird to me that you have done 4k miles and this has just started happening and especially round right handers.

Could it be a bike issue, Spokes loose, Forks leaking, rear wheel alignment from chain adjusters etc?

Re: E-bikes (cycle)

Done some research into this myself. The conversion route is the option I am taking. There sre in the main 2 options Rear hub drive, A motor that drives the rear wheel Mid drive, a motor that drives from the peddles , front sprocket (and they do allow you to freewheel, the motors have a throttle too...

Re: Dumping in the countryside

Totally agree, silly restrictions and charges at council refuse sites are to blame. Most tradesmen have thier ways and means of disposing of waste which they pay for and pass the charge onto the customer. Most fly tipping is normal people who needed to get rid of stuff, and had nowhere else to take...

Re: Dumping in the countryside

Its the folks that dump the crap to blame, cant understand all this anti council stuff, its not the council that dump it. I know lets blame them for: Not cleaning graffiti off walls For not picking litter up Not clearing up dog crap in parks Not fixing vandalism etc etc Just because people pay taxes...

Re: Welsh Jaunt this Friday

I reckon I can find most of that with my prat nav. The roman road sounds great - anyone got gpx data for it so I don't miss it - I really only got the alp to do some slightly more interesting roads so these long odd lanes are just my cuppa right now. I'm stuck in London tomorrow evening so will pro...

Re: Welsh Jaunt this Friday

Blimey So how long would that little lot take to cover? Paul has given you a great route there. I would suggest that you go to the areas he mentioned and make a judgement when there, on if you have the time or if weather is in your favor to explore further. The roman road is a cracker! So to is thi...
