The Hill of the Witch

Hi All The Triumph has/had been languishing in the garage since Wales last year....not getting out on it a lot these days! Managed to get a few days away last week for a bit of bike/camping fun and brought the new [to me] drone this time! Got absolutely soaked on our return leg home - outside Newry ...

The Ulster Grand Prix - literally the world's fastest road race with a certain Peter Hickman holding that record - hit financial skids a few years ago, with Phillip McCallen l...

Re: France for D-Day 75th Anniversary

Cheers Flintock!

Absolutely, you could spend many weeks in Normandy alone.

It was, at times, quite intense but also profoundly interesting. They've done a great job of preserving the sites.

France for D-Day 75th Anniversary

It's been a while since I have been on here, alas. New job and a young toddler has curtailed the biking (before this trip it was just under a year since I had my leg over the Triumph!). For my 40th, with a few mates, we travelled to Normandy for a week for the 75th D-Day anniversary. Phenomenal was ...

An Adobe Spark Thingy about Leitrim & Sligo

Time on the bike gets harder and harder to come by these days it seems, so when the opportunity does arise, I have to grab it!

Re: Wild Atlantic Way...in a week?

We did this route over 5 days a few years ago, stopping off at places, so although truncated, can't see why a week wouldn't be enough.
