I have also had this service direct from Klim Europe, they have always been very fast and helpful.
One added point, I have sent ripped Klim kit to the Lancashire Gore-Tex place and had certified repairs done so the warranty is still honoured.

Re: kove 800
I think you can't really compare this against 40+ year old bikes, for a start this has double the HP of the R80GS!
If you compare it against bikes that are for sale now it's a huge step down in weight, even against all the CB500X clones (and the CB itself).

That is crazy light for a 800cc bike! Total game changer in the mid-weight class.
Re: kove 800
I think that is the Rally Pro version (the really light one) and it was shown at 13,000€ (about £11,100) on the stand at EICMA
I'm not sure all 3 versions listed at EICMA will come to the UK or who will sell them here.
Looks bloody great though!!

Re: what have you done to your bike today??
I have been thinking about adding a steering damper to my CRF500L for a while as the CRF450X front end has always been very easily deflected. I sourced a very identical Scotts copy from AliExpress: IMG-20230818-WA0003.jpeg Along with a head-tube mount for the damper pin. IMG-20230818-WA0005.jpeg As ...

Re: what have you done to your bike today??
Just a small mod really but I hate wearing backpacks when off-road, especially in the summer - but I do get thirsty so: PXL_20230804_134617755.jpg Such a simple solution and, with the magnets to hold the hose, easy to use on the go. The bottle is thermal and keeps the water nice and chilled and the ...
