The 70 hours is Race-Hours though so they are not pottering around at 50mph and 3k rpm in 5th.

You don't think they have a test rig with temperature / humidity / pressure controls to simulate that? It would naive to think they are test riding up and down Ben Nevis or around a blast furnace in Sheffield!

I asked that exact question at the NEC show and was told both sides are fuel tanks

I have just thought of one major thing the CCM has over the 690 - when the insurance company asks if its modified!
In the way I would need to change the 690 I would have to list a few changes but the CCM would be standard.

Sadly, it says on the website you can only book on arrival - I imagine that'll be a right bun-fight!
