Re: Cyclops shark

Came across this on t'internet today. I honestly DO NOT read the Daily Mail or any other rag. :| https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/cyclops-baby-albino-shark-shocks-fishermen/ar-BB1abbfy?ocid=msedgntp Thought it had to be worth sharing. I wonder if the poor little thing knew when it would...

Especially avoid gloves with the word 'Waterproof' stitched onto them, water gets in through the stitching.

Re: A happy thought for all the Welsh bikers

Good luck to all my former Welsh neighbours. The 'eat out to help out' idea was deeply f*cking stupid...get everyone to go out and stuff themselves on the same one night of the week. Mmm, the more time passes, the worse that decision seems to be doesn't it? But you've got to wonder a bit at those w...

Re: Can you recommend some waterproof gloves?

These arnt armoured but they are toasty and still let you have good feeling https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142971199218 Thanks Phil. Good find. I might buy a pair of them anyway, to use on the farm. They would be fine on the bike too on those very wet slow days when the waterproofing is more important ...

Re: CCM GP 450......was it any good?

V interesting - there can't be many peeps who have owned both. The AJP looks more purposeful too. Couple of things - the exhaust is underneath - does it not get bashed up on rock steps, or is the guard good enough? Can you get racks for luggage. I guess so, because it's an ideal long-distance TET bi...

Re: Can you recommend some waterproof gloves?

Thanks David. Yes, A pair of James Herriots! I'll consider that. https://shop.held.de/en/clothes/rainwear/180/over-gloves?number=002235-00-1-9&c=425 Cheap and cheerful until you can get some real gloves. Wow yes, they are very 'veterinary' aren't they? And I bet you can get them for even less in Am...

Re: CCM GP 450......was it any good?

The AJP does look really good. And nearer the right weight for a proper off-road adv bike. I like the simplicity of the well-proven Huskie engine but also things like the underseat 17 litre fuel tank and the tablet dash for GPS as standard. Has anyone tried the Doma exhaust/ECU/air intake kit? Suppo...
