Re: Never gonna buy a honda again
Well job done. Bit of an update on my Crap ATAS, my rejection claim has been upheld and I return the V5 and the keys back to the dealer tomorrow. I still have a FOS claim going through for money back as Honda finance decided to use this HMRC figure to up the cost of my access mileage. Instead of 4.9...

Re: Never gonna buy a honda again
I just realised I may have some insight into this? With PCP, you are not the owner of the bike .. Honda Finance is .. and so do not need your authority to do repairs etc ??? Basically, you are just renting the bike until the balloon payment is completed .. you then become the owner. (Also, incident...

Re: Never gonna buy a honda again
No by law under the 2015 consumers right act I have to give honda 8 weeks to investigate, whilst still paying the PCP. They can then reject my claim...... Then that means the FCA and going via small claims court. To top it all the dealer has actually repaired the bike completely, without my authoris...

Re: Never gonna buy a honda again
No the tank was fixed after the first repair and then failed again after 2 months. That is when I rejected the bike. I cant keep getting them to fix the damn thing. The bike has now spent in total 2 1/2 months in honda dealers. I think atm the dealer is stripping down the forks, so they can spray th...

Re: Tracer 900 GT
I love it, and yes it goes like stink. They are different beasts, I used to get a sore arse after an hrs riding on the ATAS, but the Tracer I feel like I can ride all day. The cruise control, is great, the quick shift is great fun and the TFT screen is very clear. Needs a couple of bits added to it ...

Re: Never gonna buy a honda again
A bit of an update.... Even Honda Finance don't seem to have a clue what they are doing either and cant understand English. So about 3 weeks ago, I was asked by one of the Honda Finance people this question. "Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, as the company that provided the relevant finance ...

Tracer 900 GT
So I need a bike, that can get me to work, not cost too much to service and will protect me from the elements. Looked at the Duke Multi 950s, but the £1,000 valve service frightens me. BMW S1000XR, looks nice but had some conflicting reports. Africa Twin, don't make me laugh, or cry. Whats the Yamah...

Re: New 2020 Africa Twin.
Nope, sorry wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, but as Im rejecting a 2018 ATAS at the moment because, its a death trap and rusting maybe im biased.
