Re: Any sidecar owners out there, opinions appreciated?

It might have been me that you were stuck behind coming back from the Dragon. I was on a Vincent outfit, I have had it for a couple of years and every so often it rattles my confidence. Try R&H, I changed from CN this year because I needed to have name drivers on my policy, otherwise I have no problem with CN.

Re: SORN and the Law advise please

The Sorn/fine system must be pretty random, I have 13 vehicles to keep track of and have over run sorn by several weeks and not got a fine. Re: poll - living in Britain

I have, apparently, worked in 47 countries, there some I liked and some I didn't, but all things considered I like the UK.
I watched a restoration program from Harris Sunday and I would love to visit, most people will never see the majority of sites that the British isles provides.

Re: Must resist the urge for yet another stove set.

I have a Trangie stove, which was great for boiling water and heating cans, then got a MSR Drangonfly, noisy but good for cooking, frying, boiling etc. 2 years back I got a jet boil for when I didn't need to cook, just boil, but I use both because the jet boil is great for boiling and the MSR is gre...

You could try getting on evening class at the local college and do it as your project.

Re: Dragon Rally

Hope your dad gets better soon.
At one of the airfield Dragons, I met a guy who had his dads ashes in an urn, the dad had done a significant number of Dragons, so they got him 1 last ticket and got him badged.

Why bother going to Wales at all, you could buy the goodie bag and badge on ebay.

Re: Dragon Rally

About 5 years back it was at a site on the edge of Beddgelert, next to the main road and the copper mine, it was a proper site but basic. I think the site changed hands and they couldn't get it the following year. Saturday afternoon we sat outside the pub in tee shirts, but when the sun went down it...
