Re: Creepy things you've seen while riding

Not happened to me but go a relative of mine. I was with them the night it happened. While out walking near Leyburn they saw an old aircraft fly along the valley below them. Not being into planes they had a look and carried on but did notice somebody inside waving at them. This was 15 years ago. Lat...

Re: Noob Bar Riser Query

I'm 6ft tall but with only a 29 inside leg. This means I have a very long body. I need bar risers or my neck hurts when I stand up.
I used Rox risers on my 950..expensive but good. There are plenty of 20mm risers on eBay that are cheap to try and see if it helps.

Richard Simpson Mark II wrote:Just as a matter of interest....what gearing do you have on your 404 that makes 70 mph possible on a motorway without the piston coming up through the tank?

Not sure yet but it will sit at 70 easily without any issues.

There's a moose loose.

Well not quite..but.
Thinking of getting mooses for my new toy.
No idea how to fit them...no idea of the limitations...do I also have a tube fitted?
It's a CCM 404....no more than 70 on motorways and not really hard use.
All advise welcome please.
