Re: Garmin Maps Question

Hi Andrew, the 660 you picked up, is it the 660LM with the Life Maps, if it was the updates are free. Have you tried?
My 660 is LM and I plug it in the computer every now and again and it does its thing. Actually did mine yesterday and there was nothing to update and that's they way its been for ...

Re: Mobile Phone Poll

No I wouldn't answer a mobile in a pub while chatting to anyone and I wouldn't hang around talking to anyone (in a pub) if they answer/message/text on their mobile either, the very least is I'll get up and go for a walk or most probably go home.

I turn mine off or on silent if I'm going anywhere ...

Re: STOLEN Bike KLX 250 today

Thanks guys for your thoughts and advice,
I straightaway put it on Facebook, on my local TRF forum site, on VFR800X Crossrunner site and here of course. I will look on all the Gumtree and eBay type sites and will try anything to get her back. It must have been a van job as nobody saw a thing. The ...

Re: STOLEN Bike KLX 250 today

Thanks Brenhden,

some real scumbags out there for sure. I only bought it so I could tag along with the local TRF.

Luckily I do have a road bike, so I'll still get out and about until the police find her or insurance pays out.
I'll be well out of pocket which ever way it goes as it'll be a ...

STOLEN Bike KLX 250 today

Hi my little green laner Kawasaki KLX 250 S has been stolen this just before 10 am this morning, just outside Guildford, Surrey.

FN65 VMW under 400 miles, had a disc lock on too so probably loaded in a van, was left for no more than 30 minutes outside house.

Any sightings or if your hear of parts ...

Re: TomTom vs Garmin

I've got both, bought the Garmin 3 years ago and TomTom came with a recent new bike.

TomTom 400 very user friendly, quick start up and locks on to satellites straight away, Garmin Zumo 660 slower to find satellite, but battery life off the bike is longer than the TomTom.
Both came with lifetime ...

Signed and FB'd.

It's my "local" bike hangout, so slightly biased. A little more seating wouldn't hurt though....

Re: Super ten will not start, again

I also rang Yamaha UK when my Super Ten failed on several occasions and they told me they had never heard of this difficult starting. Hello! When I said it was mentioned numerous times on various forums Worldwide, the guy said it was not substantiated and implied forums were there for idle gossip ...
