Lake District routes.

Hi all, I've been away for a while but next week I think I'll head up to the Lake District for a ride around good roads and see if I can swim in all the lakes. Which are the best roads/routes and where are the best places to stop for a cup of tea and a bag of chips, also any good campsites where I c...

Re: If Only Suzuki Would....?

Ok so my favorite bike I ever owned was a DR350. I felt better than my DRZ and my DR650. However, a fuel injected (so it could get past emissions) DRZ Rally edition is surely what suits the market these days. Lighter than the Honda 500, more powerful than the CRF rally and a bit more off roady than ...

I hired a small bike in Athens and then rode over and around the Peloponnesus region for a week. Let me know if you’ll be visiting Athens and I’ll find the details.
(They did do other bikes than the small 125 I rented)

Re: Brenhden's TET

Thanks all, Bob, my bike does my daily 60 mile motorway round trip to the office on those tyres so I don't fancy any more agressive than 50/50. Also those Barkbuster Storms you recommend are brilliant. I'm sure my throttle side controls and the bones in my hand would both have been broken without th...

Re: Brenhden's TET

<snip> I found a tick on my ankle and I made a little tick remover from a loyalty card and used to totally fail to sort the tick out. I set off around 07:00 with its head still stuck in me. <snip> You need to get that sorted asap - like, very urgently!!!!!! Yeah, my other half cut it out the next d...

Any idea what bike you are upgrading to? What sort of electrical problems have you had?

Re: Brenhden's TET

29/06/19 Lovely lazy morning packing up and heading off. Donated my picnic table to the people next door, much to the disappointment of everyone else. Weighed the bike down with all my kit and zoomed off home. And cleaned and repaired my bike. 38 Saved me.jpg 39 Lost bolt.jpg 40 Soapy.jpg New kit re...

Re: Brenhden's TET

I rode out of town and next was St Day where I stopped for packed lunch and found some wild strawberries. The trails were great here especially Unity Wood. I negotiated a fallen tree and hopped over another. 30 Fallen tree.jpg Fallen tree I ended up at the coast in Porthtowan as it winds out of town...
