Sounds like a nice trip.
Don’t forget your vignette for Switzerland unless you want to go from traffic light to traffic light between the mountain passes. If you know a good route through please let me know, although we’ve no plans to ever go there again - never say never.

Re: Planning for next year
Avoid Switzerland. Too expensive, folk there vary from ok ish to downright rude. Driving standards are poor, unless you count sticking to the speed limit ridgidly. Theuy also will take it upon themselves to try and 'educate' you if they don't like how you're driving. It's a lovely place scenery wis...
Re: Exotogg
I tend to agree. Thought about one for a long trip due to small pack size versus an electric jacket but I suspect a decent down jacket would suffice and as you say doubles up as an off bike jacket.
Exotogg
Hi.
Anyone bought/used one of these? Just wondering how warm they are compared to a heated jacket.
Thanks

Re: The Royal Enfield Himalayan ,great value.
Thanks Chris.
Haha, yes 930mm but it’s only the same height as my WR250R - which, I believe, you have experience of.
I always have my saddles reupholstered by Tony Archer with added height - I’ll see if he can manage 4 inches
Cheers

Lubing? Etc.... 2 - It has a very low seat height and I need a very high seat height (my 1200gs is 930...
