Re: 2001 Renault Master II Clutch Master Cylinder

Thanks Bob. I think you might be right, as I can't see a separate reservoir anywhere. Yes, I checked the level in the brake reservoir and it seems ok. It might be that it's just pumping fluid within itself. I don't want to assume it's the slave cylinder until I eliminate the 'easier' possibility of ...

Re: 2001 Renault Master II Clutch Master Cylinder

Thanks Bob.
I'd actually read this when I googled it. The problem is, it assumes the reader knows where the reservoir is - I know it's at the other side of the pedal somewhere , but it doesn't say where and it's certainly not visible in the engine bay.

2001 Renault Master II Clutch Master Cylinder

Not a bike, but transport my bikes in it so ….. Anyone know the location of the clutch master cylinder in a 2001 Renault Master van? Can't see anything obvious in the engine bay. Might be behind a panel/insulation behind brake servo unit? (be a bugger if it is) Or fed from Brake reservoir? (as some ...

Half-a-dozen Belgian Trappist Ales and a single malt chaser or two (you Southern tart) and it won't matter what you sleep on, or where you sleep ….. just sleep! Trust me ....

Greetings folks, Quick update, Whisper has been found and is now home safe and sound :D Thanks for looking though. TTFN Hugh. Thank goodness for that, thanks for letting us know. Re: OPEN INVITE GERMANY JUNE 2019

Nah …. it's horrible …. weather's shocking ….. bikes are frowned on ….. beer and wine are terrible ….. women are ugly ….. people have no sense of humour ….. you'd hate it.
Leave well alone, to those of us who have to make the sacrifice of spending considerable time there.

Re: Yorkshire Dales advice.

Forgot to add …. if you want to 'rough it' and just need a bed for the nights, I'd recommend the 'Hotel Paradiso' at the Helwith Bridge Inn, costs £5 a night per bed and is perfectly comfortable and a 20 meter crawl from the pub, selling fine ales and reasonable grub. Here's a couple of images. The ...

Re: Yorkshire Dales advice.

Can't go wrong with the walks you're intending. The Malham 'loop' is particularly good. Malham-Janet's Foss tufa waterfall-Gordale Scar with scramble up the waterfall-Malham Tarn, Watlow's dry valley with water sinks that made it, top of the Cove with stunning views and clints and grikes, back down ...

Re: Tuzo Adventure boots

I've got them. I'd say they're neither wide nor narrow fitting. Comfortable, but not the best made - you get what you pay for (usually). The main issue I have, is that when your feet expand after a ride/walk around and you try to remove them, the lining usually comes out with your foot, unless you '...

Re: EU. In or out?

I can only speak from personal experience. In 2017 I had cause to use the German health service on a number of occasions (it was a bad year). That included: - separated shoulder, with an operation to insert metalwork and 4 days in hospital - detached retina to left eye, requiring a vitrectomy operat...
