If the speedo drive is off the front, then will change by 21 seventeenths. And if off rear, by 18 seventeenths. That's it simply, but tyre aspect will alter the ratio. Footpeg lowering brackets were being fabricated by Martyred on Advrider, or could make your own Adapter_Tieferlegung_01.JPG Also, check your coolant level. i need to do this to the footpegs on my 1290 r, need to lower them by 20-25mm where did you buy the lowering brackets, cheers I got them from a guy called Martyred on advrider. I fitted footrest lowering brackets. Certainly helps when stood up (and more comfortable on long runs)

Other option is to use Renthal bars - various lifts, widths, bends etc available.
