Re: Work Case #18 TE450

Thanks. Interesting write up. A while back I had one of the later TE 511 from new. It was a real weapon when running well! Unfortunately that wasn’t very often. It spent hours back at the dealers, who gave up in the end. Basically, it was plagued with electrical and slow running problems, all linked...

Re: Tyre levers

Re: Fuming is not even close

I don’t think so. The 950 and 990 to some degree did suffer from broken wires in the loom. However this was further around the headstock just past the stamped on VIN number location. The wires broke internally in the multi strand loom.

Re: Guilty Pleasures

Moto Guzzi V85 TT scrambler/ adventure bike. There are many other probably better, adventure/ travel bikes out there. But there is definitely something about the styling of this one! Sorry, not sure how to do a link for everyone.

Re: Fuming is not even close

That’s shocking, and joined so close to the body as well. Was it the suppling dealer from new? If so must have a good idea what’s been going off!

Re: Off-roaders on the beaches

To start with I though the 2 Whitby bound bikers deserved what they got but the more I think about it I thought it was harsh. On a daily basis I see hundreds of people taking greater risks and potentially causing more hassle. Groups of cyclists hiding behind the exercise excuse but probably out for...
