Re: Eagles nest Anyone been?

We went a couple of years ago and thought it really good and well worth the visit. As some said , Park it the main car park near to the visitor centre and bus station and take the bus up. You can't take your bikes up to the Eagles nest. We had wurst and fries in the restaurant that used to be the co...

Awesome stuff, great anti corrosion spray , not as good as ACF 50 as it comes off with soap and water, with all the dirt stuck to it mind , but general use and, after a clean, protection spray, nice. It leaves a much heavier film than WD40 , ...

Re: Super Tenere

Hi there Went from a Honda Varadero to the Superten last Sept I think it was . 8000 odd miles on it now 2015 ES Model. Love it , not missed a beat, running on Michelin PR4 trails , which are road tyres, great grip and handling. Faster and better handling than the vara. Added MRA screen , side wind d...

Re: Open face helmets

Answered similar query on another thread . Shoei J cruise is the best helmet i've ever had, swopped from a Shark Evoline 3 . Shark is a good lid but used it permanently with the chin bar open . Its heavier /bulkier than the J cruise by a mile and the J cruise is just so easy to wear and quiet . j

Re: Schubert M1 and other open face hemets

I have to say it is the best touring lid I have owned and it is quiet at motorway speeds with the face shield fully down, as you would imagine it gets noisier when open. I was looking for exactly the same requirements in a Lid and this does it for me. Try one on and see how it feels, if it fits nice...

Re: Schubert M1 and other open face hemets

Just got a Shoei J Cruise and been using it for about a month now . It fit me very well and is like a full face with a full clear face shield, Cost was prohibitive £400 + but got a mega discount from local emporium as it was a cancelled order and they were not stocking them. Finish is good, made of ...

Re: Brake pads

I've used EBC HH in both Varadero's i've had and they improved the braking performance noticeably , no unusual wear , worked well . Put them in the Harley same result improved braking and last ok . I'm surprised others have found them lacking as friends who have fitted them to all sorts speak well o...
