Re: Africa Twin vs F800GS

From what I see you've already answered to the question and looking for the confirmation. :P

So here you go.

- BMW is less expensive
- better fuel consumption
- lighter
- probably more resistant to rust
- more popular = more parts and accessories.

I see no reason to swap. B)

Re: Total noob doing Stella Alpina.

Breakdown and health insurance are a must. Alps in summer as cold as the Draggon - is this a windup? 1. I understand it's a must but is it a good deal or are there better options. 2. Basecamp is high. I've seen some videos from the rally and there was snow. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r271/b...

Eurotunnel offers a deal for AA for £80. Is it worth it?
I have AA but without Europe cover. It will most likely be my only trip out of UK this year.

Re: Total noob doing Stella Alpina.

I'm very happy to hear that camping is so easy. I plan to do just that. I've never been to Paris. Would like to take a picture with Eiffel Tower in the background - any advice on it? How cold is in the Alps? I've done Dragon Rally few times - is it comparable? Big thanks for all the help so far (thu...

Re: Garmin 660- how to.............?

I have Zumo 660 and you definitely can change it.
There is at least two displays options.

On the standard one you just press that info and you should be able to see more info. Clicking there will swap for a chosen one. I have distance to a turn like it should be B)
