Can anyone please explain why my Oxford battery thing now connected to my battery is jumping its volts reading around from 8.4 to 15.7 to 8.3 to 15.7 to 8.2 to 15.7......you get the picture. Zero amps reading?
It also says it's maintaining the battery?!
The bike won't start.
Thank you.

Re: Tyre gauges
Thank you, gents, for your replies. Clearly no need to be spot on with pressures then. Probably more so as someone not pushing his tyre technology.....the last time I got my knee down was when I was taken out by a round bale of hay!!

Tyre gauges
Can anyone recommend an analogue tyre pressure gauge with an angled end for ease of attachment to the valves that is acceptably accurate please? Thanks. Perhaps the tyre gurus could suggest what percentage accuracy is acceptable....where can one test their gauges for accuracy?

Wiring of led driving lights, no fuel filter
I have some decent size driving lights from Bike-Vis.....loads of wires. Does anyone know please how to wire them in to run with my (HID) dip on my 1150gs? Thanks again. Also, during general repairs (see below) I have discovered that there is no fuel filter in the tank or outside of it-I assume I sh...

Re: Zumo wiring
Thank you, gentlemen. Have opted to wire directly to the battery and it actually works-more to the girlfriend's surprise than mine.

Zumo wiring
Your assistence is again begged. My amazing girlfriend has just got me a Zumo 660. Question is - how to wire? The loom has a fused bit with a single red cable.....can that connect to the live on the battery, and what about the neg/earth? Opinion is split on this method, and wiring to the ignition-I ...

Re: Big hello to all pillions !
This is more to encourage pillions......my girlfriend had never been on a bike, but on our second or third date I turned up on my bike to find that she had gone and bought a helmet, leather jacket and boots. I was very conscious that by the end of the road she may hate pillion. Three miles later I p...

Re: Auxiliary Lights on your Motorbike - Do you use your? If so when?
I keep full beam and aux on during the day and get the occasional response from drivers to who I give a nod, but at night ride in normal mode, ie HID all the time and full beam where and when appropriate. Some drivers do dip their rear view mirrors when I'm behind them in queues. As others have ment...

Help please....when my 1150 steering lock is on, my tail lights stay on, when I start the bike, the lights dont always come on immediately: sometimes they come on by themselves, or after a few yards, perhaps when I engage 1st gear, or go lock to lock. Somewhat baffled guys, but the bike always start...
