Cheap extra lights for XT660

Bought a tidy XT660Z for a good price from a pal and then remembered from previous experience how bad the headlamp mainbeam is for focus and throw.
I had a Tenere in 2012 and ended up hanging very expensive led spots on it, don't want to spend a vast amount and notice there's a lot of stuff now ...

Brittany Ferries Plymouth Santander.
Looking forward to an autumnal run down through Spain in a few days, but I suddenly recall the last time we went - having turned up in a timely fashion we were loaded into the very bowels of the ship, right up against the bulkhead with nowhere to go but turn ...

Personal Travel Insurance that covers using a bigger bike than 125cc

Checking my just expiring Travel Insurance for me and Herself and find that Rock Insurance seem to have quietly withdrawn cover for touring sized bikes.

They used to offer cover up to 1500cc and I've used them for the last couple of years.

Anyone got any recommendation/suggestions for decent ...

Re: Seat 'comfort' pad

I've been using one for a while since my £££ Airhawk quit. I Suffered a smashed thigh 12 years ago and rely on something like this to prop my lopsided butt up!

Re: If There Is A God...Thank You, Thank You!

Makes me laugh when I get told
"oh those foreign drivers, they'll kill you"

Apparently I was going to get killed many times over in North,South and Central America. Found it to be vastly different, and the further South I got the more relaxed progress became.

Sure they're a bit pushy in the ...

Re: Which tyre plug?

I've had that four day old tyre situation, used the rat-tail with some added "tip top" glue and got full use out of it.
Used the same kit on our shopping trolley Fiesta [a car which comes with one of those stupid space saver spare wheels] and complete success - not even the slightest loss of ...
