I would not fancy using an impact driver. 24mm head, what diameter is the actual bolt, is there a chance to drill it and tap a smaller thread in (12-13 mm)??

Can you do what i did to my ttr 250? Cut the ball end off. File it round. There was a hole in the ball end already, but if not drill one yourself, approx 8-10 mm. Cut approx 1" off the lever or more if you wish. Grind the end round then slide ball on. If you are happy with the length, epoxy the...
