Re: Clare, Kerry and Cork
One of our guys was across that way last weekend - I'll not spam you with his trip report, but his main recommendation is that you defo, absolutely, MUST do the Ring of Beara loop at some point. He said the Ring of Kerry was ace too, but Beara was head & shoulders better as a biking road. Enjoy ...

Re: Uk country roads...lets here from locals.. GPX FILES in thread.
Apologies for the (blatant, I know - sorry!!) self promo, but MotoGoLoco Maps - GPX/ITN File Creator might very well make a few lives easier. Create the route online, save it and it can then be exported by anybody else as a GPX (Garmin), ITN (TomTom) or TRP (CoPilot) route file, among a few other le...

Asgards - no competition!
One of our guys has got 10 of them around the back of their hotel for guests to use (Buccleuch, Moffat) and they're genuinely excellent.

Re: Map import not working in Tyre
Hey up - the TomTom/Garmin direct transfers rely on a wee bit of go-between software between our maps & your computer (Garmin call it 'Communicator). Personally... I find them a bit of a faff, and prefer to just export the route file in whatever format I need (.ITN for TomTom/.GPX for Garmin) an...

Re: Map import not working in Tyre
Cool - I was up at the MacDonald hotel over the weekend (mountain biking though) and pleased to say it's as good as ever. Always love this view from their car-park every time I've been up... http://www.motogoloco.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/IMAG0344.jpg I'm hoping I'll make it up again this ...

Re: Nice ride up North
Cracking write up Stu, and greatly appreciated - thank you!
Lovely to see you both, and it's brilliant that you've had such a good time - always nice to know when we get something right.
Have a safe ride home, hopefully see you both again soon.
Cheers & all the best,
James @ MotoGoLoco

Re: Do you use TYRE TomTom Software?? I am having issues!
The other issue is pre-planning Alpine routes in winter when the passes are closed as Tyre won't plot routes over them, although the routes do go over the passes when you run them on the GPS. This one's a result of Google Maps and it's API being too clever for it's own good. We have the same issue ...

Re: Google Maps remove Classic option :-(
For those that don't like the new Google maps and can't (or won't) use BaseCamp, you might like to have a look at MotoGoLoco, which is getting positive reviews. I had a look at it a couple of years ago in its earlier incarnations and couldn't get on with it. Similarly, when I owned a Windows based ...
