I loved the language. Very precise, and correct. How refreshing.

Re: COVID-19......Your Situation

I was given early retirement a couple of years ago, so am on a pension. My wife had 3 part-time jobs, in the entertainment industry. Last week, she was told they were all closing, so no work, and no pay. We are both "high risk", so are meant to isolate ourselves. Day 2 - going potty. My children both...

Re: Audible plug warning doofer

How about a count-down timer ? I use them for a number of things - you just press a button on it to give up to 2hrs, then it turns off. I have this one, but there are others, with different timings... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Timeguard-TGBT6-Plug-Electronic-Adapter/dp/B0063EC3W0/ref=pd_aw_sbs_60_6/2...

Re: What would put you off buying a GS1200/1250?

What put me off was riding one. Horrible. I've now ridden 3 different, just in case the first was a lemon, and for some time, and it hasn't changed my opinion. They are also not particularly reliable, which is my top priority. I've done my time standing on the side of the road waiting for the RAC/AA.
