Hi Tom, The map we were using was drawn using the UTM method of co-ordinates rather than say WGS84 which is the default setting for many GPS's and especially the one we were using. When reset to UTM the map and our actual position married up exactly. Hope that helps. I'm no expert and no doubt other...
