Re: Go Big and Ride Small

Just been out on the wee bike for a bit of a giggle, I've definitely missed back road cruising at 40.

Re: Fantic 500s with the 6-spd Zongshen NC450 motor

I've been seriously considering the rally version next year as a small fun back roads bike with some panniers, that or the sinnis 250 scrambler as it's not about going quick but having a nice time cruising round. We'll see where money is as there's a 5k difference between the 2  Arguably the fa...

Re: Help needed wiring Montana

Probably worth checking what voltage you've got there and if you've got decent continuity to the negative on the battery, if it's that it's an easy solve as you just put it onto the frame somewhere. Give it a quick try with the headlight bulb unplugged and see what it does, it'll either work or it w...

Re: Help needed wiring Montana

Could be the canbus on it if it's wired that way, is the sidelight on if the engine isn't running, and have you tried it with the bulb out? Otherwise a relay wired from the sidelight for the switch shouldn't give you too much trouble because it draws about bugger all and you can bring a nice meaty c...

Re: Go Big and Ride Small

Well for about £20 in parts (headlight bulb and new handlebars after I stole them for a different bike) and the spare battery for my KTM, it's got an MOT, all ready apart from gear for a tiny bike weekend tour with the Mrs next weekend :D IMG_20190805_110945_6.jpg Blimey!!!.... You soon got that so...

Re: Guided trail riding day, Sweetlamb, 7th September.

I did one of the easy Rallies there a couple of years ago and enjoyed it. It's a shame they don't do a sort of unguided pay to play thing there (I hate being guided) , I suppose the liability thing puts a dampener on that. It is a shame but the place is massive, 6600 acres, and definitely easy to g...
