Re: Oxford HotGrips.....any good..?

Great replies, very much appreciated guys n' gals. Ok, I've organised and bought set of Oxford Adventure HotGrips which should arrive towards end of this week to replace my faulty factory fitted V-Strom's heated grips which have been faulty for the past nine months or so... Re: Rotopax fuel can

I recently bought a 2L "Fuelfriend" sturdy fuel container - very well made, German. I carry it with me on the Maxi-Scooter under the storage seat n case I get stuck, or even on the V-Strom.

Something like £14 to buy new, excellent quality, doesn't leak, I'd highly recommend it.

Re: 1967 Norton 650SS Winter Adventures

I'm living in the Central Belt of Scotland, a small town called 'Alloa', we're about six miles located from Stirling Castle. I've only been living in Scotland eleven years now as I moved over from Northern Ireland where I was originally born etc... Your Norton is simply beautiful.... Cheers; Peter

Re: Go Big and Ride Small

We're heading to Glenlyon today (near Kenmore) for a walk with our border collie and outdoor lunch with the portable BBQ.

We may pass on the road at some point....

Ride safe Bro.

Oxford HotGrips.....any good..?

Ok, my V-Strom k8 DL1000 factory fitted heated grips are now refusing to work, so question is, are the Oxford HotGrips worth it...? Any folk here fitted them onto their 2-wheel pride n' joy over the years..? Seems there are three different models of heated grips available; Adventure - Sport - Tourin...
