Re: OS Mapping question

I'd say it's worth looking at the county online definitive map. They always seem to include a statement that it may be incorrect but it's an extra layer of checking you've done. Also worth checking to see if they have a list of TROs and BOATs. Locally I find the Staffordshire and Derbyshire ones are...

Agreed, it was a bit nippy yesterday. Good to see some blue sky though. I had a very pleasant ride in the Peak District.

Re: Ferries are filling up fast !!!

I'm pretty sure the Pont Aven has room for plenty of bikes. It's the others which have limited availability. The queue to get back on in September was well over 100 yards long with 2 or 3 bikes side by side. Incidentally I booked 3 bikes and 2 cabins for the end of April, returning 3 weeks later, ju...

Re: BBC Countryfile Autumn Diaries - or just more inaccuracies.

I received a reply from the BBC complaints department. Make of it what you will... This is clearly an issue ...

Re: Sealskinz Heated Waterproof Gloves.

Hi Hugh, I've been using a pair of Gerbing heated gloves for a couple of winters. However, I've only used them on my road bike as the heated grips on my CCM are excellent. I'm really pleased with the gloves but the wires can be a bit of a pain. 1> You need to route the wires through your jacket line...

Re: my bike with.......A BRIDGE

Spain 2019. TET and Vibraction Trans Pyrenees route. I crossed this bridge for the first time two years ago. At that time there were no railings, just a 6" kerb.

Bardenas Realles, Spain 2017. Towards the end of the Vibraction Trans Pyrenees route before heading further west on the then fledgling TET.
