Re: 125 Insurance for 17 year olds..???

Try getting a quote with yourself as a named driver, it bought down our Trace's insurance by 10% and she still gets the NCB, did the same with both my daughters cars, same thing about 10% less.
Or if you want to risk it the other way with you as the main and son as the named.

Re: Taking the test

CBT > theory test > module 1 > module 2 The theory test is very similar to the car test but with a few bike orientated questions/hazards and has to be done even if you have a car licence. Module1-module2? no idea what this means, could look it up, but too lazy. (thumbs) So you have to book a bike s...

Taking the test

This is not for me, I did mine in '78 when the tester stood at the side of the road. But our trace is wanting to take her test so we can travel together abroad, a tour of Ireland to start with, me on my 90. And shes fed up with doing the CBT every 2 years. So I have a few questions. She wants to do ...

Re: the rules of the road

Is this post for real, I ride to the rules of the road except for the occasional "a bit over the speed limit", whether in a car or especially on the bike I try not to get nicked or killed or kill someone else. Some of the comments sound like more bravado from muppets that shoulnt be on th...

Re: Multibike Insurance: Refused to allow spouse to be insured!

Can't coment on multi bike policies, but I have a C90 with my partner Trace on mine, she only has a CBT, and she has a Honda Bali with me as a named rider and we both pay about the same as each other, but with different companies, If I leave her off mine it dosn't drop the premium at all. But if I'm...

Re: When will we ever learn?

Listened to J Corbyn on the Vine show this morning, good on him for sticking to what he believes, about time. I read somewhere, dont know so dont ask, but it basically said every prime minister wants to go to war because it proves to themselves they have the power over life and death. Besides that w...
