Re: The ups and downs of chinese bike ownership - Herald 250cc classic custom

Well I went and done it. Not really had chance to give it a good blast due to work but it's miles apart from my last bike. The only problem is that it's rather quiet. Need to have a look at replacing the exhaust soon.

I was just wondering if you still had your Herald? Just been looking at them and they do look quality. Cheers

Handheld GPS???? Help!!!!

Can some one help me out in layman terms?? I need a cheap handheld GPS unit to plot out some land for woodland planting. I will have the coordinates and I just want to know the cheapest GPS unit I could use to plot them. Any recommendations?? Thanks in advance.

Re: Green Lane run vs. Shopping trip

Hi Graham, give me a shout if your going for a tootle. It was a good day out at Rivington. I was going to give it a try going up the ice cream run but thought better of it. As you come down there are a few gnarly steps and I didn't fancy smashing my bike in going back up!!Cheers, Matt

Re: Green Lane run vs. Shopping trip

Looks spot on there. Went up Rivington Barn a few weeks ago. Went down the 'ice-cream run' on mine and put it this way I could hardly bloody walk the next day!!! Do you fancy leading a ride out again? B)

Re: OH NO!!!! Another tyre question........

I'm sorry.......but what are your recommendations for a new set of tyres for a 640 adventure? Went out on Sunday up to Rivington Barn, went down the 'ice-cream run' and my tyres are pants. No grip on grass!!Could of turned painful very quickly. So let the abuse begin. I know it's horses for courses...
