I follow several people and groups through FaceBook, riding far distances, maybe not RTW all of them, but far distances like round Asia, Through South America, Across the US, Down through Africa etc. Moste people use small bikes from 90-400ccm, but some also use F800GS, R1200GS / 1150GS / 1100GS / 1...

With the limited time, I suggest you focus on a "corner" of the UK.

Southcoast or the Yorkshire moores or the Peak District etc.

Otherwise you will only experience a "drive-trough" and not a deepfelt travelling vacation.

I use the Famsa tank bag with tank side bags on my F8GS.

I have never had, nor have I ever seen or felt tank bags of this high quality in my + 30 years in the saddle.
