Re: advice on triumph explorers

Bought a new Xc TEX last year having ridden the 800xc for 3 years. I like the explorer but it is heavy. Otherwise great bike, fantastic engine (particularly for the road) and in the Xc format looks better than the super tenere, for example. No problems yet and seems well put together.

Re: Which is your favourite bike

Liked every bike I've had and other than a Ducati 749s they've all been brill. Even the Ducati was a lovely bike to ride when it was running ok! Favourite bike is probably joint 1st between my current gsxr1000 race bike and a 750k5. Throw into mix a tiger800 xc which was a really excellent bike and ...

Re: Aprilia Pegaso trail 2007 onwards opinions please..?

I've had two and bought the second one as I missed the first one after I sold it. Had no issues at all with either and found it to be a fun little bike. The fuel pump did seem to be a fault experienced by others though - there was some useful info on the aprilia forum so have a look on there. I thou...

Re: Maroc..........there could be trouble ahead

Well I am new to this Adventure lark but I am due to leave for Morocco toward the end of March, a trip I am (was!) very excited about. Clearly North Africa is going to see much more trouble in the future and I do worry even just the thought of that will ruin what was meant to be a 'kick bucket'trip!...

Advice on my Triumph Tiger 800xc please........

I went mad and treated myself to a Tiger some months ago with various extras but I am now looking for some additional luggage and also opinions on comfort items as I am going away on it in next few weeks. I already have the rear soft bag but and will probably buy the smaller matching tank bag and ha...

Scotland ideas..........

Im thinking of jumping on my Tiger800xc tomorrow and doing a couple of day solo trip to Scotland staying in whatever hotels or B&B's I pass. Was initially thinking of heading up West toward Oban but weather forecast is better on East side but not really wanting to go up the A9. Any ideas? Thanks...
