Bought a new Xc TEX last year having ridden the 800xc for 3 years. I like the explorer but it is heavy. Otherwise great bike, fantastic engine (particularly for the road) and in the Xc format looks better than the super tenere, for example. No problems yet and seems well put together.

Liked every bike I've had and other than a Ducati 749s they've all been brill. Even the Ducati was a lovely bike to ride when it was running ok! Well I am new to this Adventure lark but I am due to leave for Morocco toward the end of March, a trip I am (was!) very excited about. Clearly North Africa is going to see much more trouble in the future and I do worry even just the thought of that will ruin what was meant to be a 'kick bucket'trip!...
