However Ed .. Im going to renew both front & rear before I go on my euro lap, & Im sticking with the Road Pilots mate, known good grip & as a dual compound they should last the miles, other posts suggest the Michelins are as good as anything out there .. better the devil you know & all that bud

I usually go for round black ones but dont ride if theyre not pumped up properly, but its ok if theyre flat only at the bottom

Love it ... seriously all day comfort for two up fully loaded(corbin seat) plenty of ommph from the big v twin, some folks say its thirsty, but touring its getting about 40/42 mpg, I did manage to empty a full tank (25l)in less than 100 miles in the Isle of Man, but that was absolutely caning it ...
