Unfortunately to get proper compensation nowadays you have to claim for 'injuries'. Insurance will only give you the perceived value of bike if they think its a write off. Diet can also affect symptoms so look into that but basically it's stay away from sugar and processed foods. Sugar is a general term not just actual sugar. It's more a case of refined carbs that turn into sugar quickly.

I've just fitted a cool cover for that reason. Always get wet crotch with whatever I use. Currently using alpinestars. I was very surprised yesterday by the cooling effects when riding to work. Its shows that it must work though.

The horizontal marks? Looks like the previous owner or shop used a grinder to cut the bottom race to get it off and nicked the stem.

Just Google where the port is and plug the reader in! Once you know what it is you can decide whether to ride it or not.

I wouldn't add anything. If the combo or tyre and mousse is correct to start with and is looked after ie taken off and cleaned/lubed now and again they should last a couple of years.
