Re: Any Maxi-Scooter riders (?)

I've had a couple of BMW C650GTs and a Yamaha TMax. The TMax lasted a few days before I persuaded the dealer to reverse the deal (at a cost to me). Didn't get on with it felt too stretched out on it. Ergonomically it just didn't work for me, I gather I am not alone here. I loved the C650GTs both the...

Re: Thoughts on the Vango Omega 350 Tent for MotoCamping

I have had an Omega 350 and currently own an Omega 250 and 450 (they don't make the 450 anymore). Vango Omegas are very good tents. I use the 250 for winter camping and the 450 in the summer. The Galaxy 350 may suit you better as it opens at the end and has a bigger porch area. Here are some reviews...

Re: Water (wine) bottle holder.

Think I've found something that would drape over the tank or pillion seat and be easy to secure https://www.amazon.co.uk/LefRight-Organizer-Tactical-Universal-Protector/dp/B079Z4FDQT/ref=pd_sbs_200_5/257-7369165-2493819?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B079Z4FDQT&pd_rd_r=345b8e1d-3585-425d-bd4a-6665b50fb17b&p...

Re: Water (wine) bottle holder.

I've thought about this some. It is easy a fairly cheap to get hold of molle bottle holders pouches etc. What one needs to make this work is two 1-2 foot square/oblong pieces of molle webbing (if that is what it's called) this I have not found. Given the molle webbing it would be fairly easy to make...

Re: Looking a tent can keep in top case

If you are two (maybe three) season camping then a Luxe Minipeak II with a 163X tarp pole would probably work. The pole collapses to 41cm and the tent to any shape you want, it takes up very little room. Links below: https://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/shelters-1/WF126-139.html https://www.backpackin...

Re: Panniers or Topbox? Or May be both?

Depends what you are doing. For day trips a top box is really useful to stow your helmet when off the bike and somewhere to put odds and ends, waterproofs etc. For longer trips if hoteling panniers and top box are great because they provide security, leave the top box pretty much empty for helmet an...
