Heated gloves are soo much better than heated grips as they heat the bit o your hand that gets cold. I also use army surpless goretex mits (£15) when its really cold or wet as i dont get on wiv muffs.

what about on yer cylinder heads? i find acf 50 (what a crap aerosol it comes in!!!!) burns off n the fins corrode anyway. im still stuck with wd 40 im afraid...

i think that most degreasers (gunk etc) actually attack rubber, causing it to swell/ degrade which is a bit pooh for the orings on yer chain. paraffin doesnt and actually lubes the chain a bit too. cant beet a scotoiler though...
