Re: Gas Gas
Haven't done Husqvarna any favours ? Explain because usually they are seen as "posh" KTMs. I know mine is brilliant. Gas Gas have had few quality issues worldwide recently but if they can improve that and keep the costs below the equivalent Austrian then they will be a market share that KT...

Re: Lady Rambler , going to speak to the Council.
I picked up on this comment "Riding on private land is a civil matter so cops aren't interested and as long as you are insured they are happy for you to right anything they consider as a right of way." But having researched it I still think the police can intervene under section 59 as you...

Re: Lady Rambler , going to speak to the Council.
Sometimes think it might be easier for us up here in Scotland. I just ride where I like. I rarely meet anyone and when I do it's even rarer for them to be upset by me being there. Riding on private land is a civil matter so cops aren't interested and as long as you are insured they are happy for you...

Re: If Only Suzuki Would....?
This valve clearance thing is a bit of a red herring.
Certainly does not concern me with my Husqvarna FE 350. And thats a far more capable off roader than a DR and is still road legal.
I do agree that a decent dual purpose bike would sell though.

Re: Bloody BMW prices
All of my bikes have been self serviced apart from this one, and it's purely because the warranty is about the best you can get. They have actually called back and have paired it down to 550 for the service so I'm not getting hit for missing the other 2 yearly services. Still shitloads though. The ...

Re: Bloody BMW prices
Amazing the amount of people who don't read the posts properly.
The service was not £1000 It was £550. I've been hit for a grand because I paid the warranty as well.
And I'll be binning the warranty, not the bike ffs lol.

Bloody BMW prices
Bike had it's 18k service and has taken 2.5 yrs to hit 24k service, so went in for that to get booked. Turns out I've missed 2 annual services, mainly because it had hardly moved, so I'm looking at the thick end of 800 quid. That and my warranty renewal and I'm taking a hit of well over a grand. vom...
