I agree size is is more important .(well my wife agrees).
Getting as much loaded on your bike of what you really need.On my recent trip of 2000 miles to the black forest & austria I used up too much space with clothes I never wore . Leaving little space for much needed cooking & camping gear ...

My thoughts when watching the program do these people not have an abundance of footpaths to use instead of walking in the middle of a road .
