Why not, maybe it wouldn't have been so much of a challenge for him if it was easier ? also the 1200 tenere wasn't out then, having said that he has done a trip on the 1200 recently

I also have the same two weeks off, first week in Scotland punctuated with the yorkshire pudding rally next weekend, then over to the moselle valley for three days the following week, can't wait, sod the weather, make a change getting wet from the outside atm, not camping B&B for me and the miss...

I fitted mine last week to my S10 its not hard, strap the panniers to your side racks use ratchet straps or whatever you have available, get them postioned how you want them, i got the missus to sit on the bike to check leg clearance first, set the pucks in postion, they should already have some dou...

The lid on the ard cases is not hinged, there is a lock on both ends, if you use a large topbox it may get in the way of hinged lids. If you want it hinged ask Roger and see what he can do.
