Re: Sleeping roll mat

I have tried sleeping mats of various cost and quality, and although yes, you tend to get what you pay for, I have never been overly impressed ! My latest choice is an air bed with a built in pump ! http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/hi-gear-reeded-single-sized-sleeping-airbed-p143575 The folded up pack si...

Re: F800GS owners, less hear it.

I bought the 800GS with my heart not my head, as I do with most bike purchases, and so far mor than pleased. It's an 800 so the engine is working harder, it's not as torquey as the 1200 but feels far...

Re: iPhone mount

I got this one from ebay, and it appears well made and water tight, £29 for the case and lanyard and I had a spare RAM mount kit. They come with a 1" ball or, 1" socket, and have little or no vibration. (some electronics are not keen on vibration in the sqiggly dept. !) I use it in conjuct...

Re: bmw twaffff dealers

I hate my local Ducati dealer with a vengance, if they were on fire in the gutter I would struggle to pee on them ! But I have nothing but praise for THUNDER ROAD MOTOR CYCLES in Bridgend. They have allways looked after me when I have had a problem, and I would thoughly recommend them, Steve or Chri...

Re: bmw twaffff dealers

Hi Sprockette, I think sometimes your right in buying privately. I have just moved over to BMW having had years and many varieties of Ducati's, but my patience has finaly give up, not because my last Ducati kept braking down (it did !) but because the dealer who I bought it from (new) was crap, and ...
