Back in 80's, i pulled into a garage to fill up, as the car in front pulled away he caught the fuel hose with the corner of his bumper and drove off leaving the nozzle in the pump and the hose gushing fuel out on thefloor, made a quick escape.

When working out distances and times of travel be warned it will always take longer sometimes much longer as you cant help but stop take pictures and soak it up.

I went to a tenere rally back in 2013, and we camped nr chur, was very handy to do alot of passes and even went to lake como for a days ride out. We are just in the first stage of planning a couple of weeks touring around Austria. Went a few months back and totally fell in love with the country so off there again but to use as a base as we plan to ride into Italy and spend a few nights around the lakes, can't wait! Me and two buddies were up there last friday and was a good day. Well thanks for all the response's, should of maybe thought about this earlier. Cash and a normal credit card is what I've done before, so i think thats the plan for this trip. And maybe go a different route for the next trip. Cheers sid.
