When I fitted mine I had to answer the same question. I tried them against a wall in the dark and came to the conclusion the lenses had to be horizontal

I use hippo hands and heated grips, and almost never need winter gloves.
Hippo hands are also made bike specific so no problems when fitting.

Hi Paul it was good to sea you again. Just rub it in that you will be in Norway. its looking like am not going to make it out of the country this year. Spent all the money on the trip last year and not found good enough work to replenish yet. :(
