Re: Electric MTB

A bought a 2019 Turbo Levo HT back in Nov, now I've moved to Brighton it's taken the place of the motorbike for commuting. If you've never ridden one up a hill you're in for a treat. Game changer. The distance you get on the battery has a tonne of variables, your weight, the mode you're riding in bu...

Re: Wales

What I love about Wales, whether you ride it in a few hours or a week, it's still a pleasure. I prefer linking the b & single track together but there are some stonking A roads when the speed urge takes over. I didn't go in 2019 so need to rectify that in 2020, I usually do at least 2 - 3 trips a ye...

Re: Huel Discount code wanted

Hey monster, You get a 10% discount if you sign up for the subscription which you can always cancel if you don't like it. I may have a discount introduction card but it's probably been recycled. Alternately any of the youtube reviewers have a discount code active (which is what I originally did) but...

Re: Zero Review

I demo the Fxs last year & really enjoyed it (nothing boring about them). Apart from pretty hard suspension I thought it excellent. I didn't buy it for 2 reasons.....cost, but mainly range. My daily commute is a bit less than yours & a charge would have just about made it through, but if I needed it...

Re: Heated Waistcoats, but not 12V

Thedktor & other interested parties After breaking numerous leads or losing the controller on my AlpineStars heated vest 3 years ago I bought an avade heated top. Lithium battery operated, power switch on the wrist cuff. Not cheap but it is a fantastic bit of kit, has it's niggles & riding at -2 you...

Re: The next step....

I'm hoping the muscle memory is still there. I rode only bicycles until 13 years ago, when I moved from London to Surrey, but when I had to come back in most weekdays I bought my first motorbike. I used to happily commute a round trip of 35 miles along towpaths to college & would always cycle into c...

Re: The next step....

Thats exactly what I picked up today garyboy, except if you buy it from a Specialized store its £1800. I'm pleased, I haven't ridden a bicycle properly in about a decade, 8 mile journey back to work & I could still walk & talk  I'm going to potter with it for the rest of the week & if all goes ...

Re: The next step....

Thank you for the replies gents, Ive had a Pro Rockhopper for 14 years & it's been a solid piece of kit. I had a look at a Giant but it didn't appear to offer anything over the Levo apart from an extra £900. I would love the full suspension but I don't need it & it's considerably more expensive. It ...

Re: The next step....

Gents, value some input. My lil CRF has finally gone to bike heaven (needs an engine rebuild) and going to replace with an e bike. Theres a lot out there but not many shops I can get too. I have about £2000 to spend, Specialise Levo HT comes in at that price, it looks good on paper, has anyone got o...
