Re: Pints per mile....its all in the maths
Don't forget 10% of road accidents are caused by drunk drivers !!!! 90% therefore are caused by sober drivers! Better to be safe, drive drunk? I've always thought this to myself.....if someone causes an accident by shit driving, then they are breathalysed. If they are over the limit they should be ...

Re: Work Case #4 The Honda "Grom"
Steve, a lad who works up the road from my unit has one. It has the LOUDEST pipe I've ever heard. I'm pretty sure I can hear him leave home about three miles away and all the way to work. The front wheel is very rarely on the ground and he does pretty impressive 180 stoppies too. Bloody Hooligan !!!...

Re: That old "which is the best tyre thread" again.
Mostly road with dry trails, I like the Meffo explorers. On tarmac, they are great wet or dry. MT21s are a good all round trail-tyre and will cope surprisingly well in loose stuff, and even a bit of mud if you don't push it. I found the front wore quite quickly on the road; it was pretty wrecked aft...

EC 300 or Pampera ?
If it's on older version of the former then it's a mad-fast, nutter-bastard. If it's the Pampera then it's a sweet trail bike.

Re: Cable locks
The 10mm dia Kryptoflex cables will deter a casual thief but any cable lock can be "nibbled" through reasonably easily with good set of electrician's side-cutters. Use with either a good quality small D-lock or maybe an Abloy 340 padlock. I'd cover things up so scum can't see if it's worth...
