Great Bike there Loggy.
Don't polish it as much as riding it will you

That chain does look tight as per a previous post.

Enjoy... and welcome to the Africa Twin experience

Re: Up periscope! Wet tales from the Peaks.

Thanks An, Gary for a great day. Sorry about all the moaning but I was really cold and really wet.   Good trails and Gary thanks for leading. Don't worry about slowing me down. It was good to practice my slow control on the trails. :P :P An, we had some fun but sadly on the ri...

Re: Up periscope! Wet tales from the Peaks.

Thanks for a great day out Tyrant68 And thanks Phil90 for a great run between the peaks and home - despite my fastest riding I couldn't shake him- could always hear him - I'm cold and wet ! ;-) Was also great to play with a Dslr camera worth a fortune and not worry about damaging it as it wasn't min...

Re: A Jurassic day out...

Cracking write up - so good i would have let you have my very last Rolo :-) I thought there was a time when that 640 would have been found in a shallow grave and she still likes to throw a spanner in the travel works - but you are gelling quite nicely - come to think of it you both have the same tem...

Re: Varadero XL1000, vs, Pan european st1300, for long haul around Europe.

Both are capable bikes and will eat the miles. If the varadero has the Honda panniers then I would go for the pan as the varadero panniers are an odd shape and you can't fit much. The pan has better wind protection if you are doing a lot of motorway stuff. Personally I like the varadero - but only c...

Re: Bike transport to the airport.

I can you it coming together :-) There are plenty of ABR'rs that would want to do the whole run and I would love to be one of them but I do think there are plenty that cannot or don't want to do the motorway run. I am sure this sort of service isn't quite as price sensitive as you may think. £500 fo...

Re: Bike transport to the airport.

This sort of service would be attractive to someone like me. I have a limited amount of time off but would love to go to some of the far away places such as Morocco , Portugal. I want that time to be spent 'on location' rather than getting there. It is difficult to put a price on such a service but ...
