Re: Gentlemen do lunch

Eyup. The last XRV/ABR GDL collaboration was a resounding success, we’re doing it again on the 14th of this month, probably a re-visit to ‘The Roaches Tearooms’, but maybe a bit more North and East to accommodate a North Eastern contributor. So, if you’re interested put the 14th in your diaries. Th...

Re: ACU - consequence of illegal riding.

Disappointing news release, but as others have said, hardly a surprise. The illegal access by riders was a problem 25 years ago in Mid Wales and has continued and by all accounts, got worse... Long experience, is that it often locals riding, that are the major issue, both on FC land, and also MX bik...

Re: Meals on two wheels.

I've long been a fan of the "Look what we found" meals, but like most, have found them to be under sized when it comes to portions! These days I am sponsored by my son.... IMG_20190526_214010366.jpg I am sure one or two of you here will recognise the bags! They are often the same as the Wayfar...

Re: Which bike for one returning to overlanding?

I’d say for two up comfort a Varadero 1000 will take some beating. I have one, and it's the only bike my SO will sit on with a degree of happiness! I can do 10hrs days on it happily, albeit with an Airhawk :D I am pondering selling it, but I know that if I ever want to do a quick dash to the West o...

Fine by me mate - straight up the M5 so I shouldn't be able to c*ck that up too easily.
Straight down for me, somehow it takes me twice as long to get to Cirencester than Gloucester and it's only just down the road
New Sat nav needed I reckon...

Re: SWM Superdual Owner here??

Thanks for all the ideas Chaps. In the end using a combination of Pigeon Italian (me) Nico (Hon SiL) and Google Translate I filled in the V55 from the Certificate of Conformity that the new Importers got for me, off SWM in Italy. I also found that a recent Reg Doc (2013) for my AJP was very helpful ...
