When you get off the ferry in Ceuta, you are still in Spain, technically. The border is a couple of km's down the road. I would do my temp import form on line before you go (D16ter). At the border, all you need is you passports vehicle docs and the D16. As far as I recall no money or insurance can ...

Thanks for all your help and advise guys, really useful. Im not worried about the crossing but a little knowledge before the event is always handy :)

Morocco Newbie

My better half and I are heading to Morocco early September, we are crossing from Tarifa to Ceuta and would appreciate any advice on negotiating the border crossing in to Morocco.
Also any info on must see roads or towns to visit would be appreciated.

My view on this is entirely financially driven Im afraid.
I currently have an all singing all dancing GSA, great bike but costs a 'kin fortune. Am now realising I could have just as much fun (if not more some times!!)On an older bike and have some spare cash in my pocket for adventures:-)

Hi steve.... The place I was on about at the chilton meet is called "Bardenas Reales" .. http://www.bardenas-reales.net/pageaccueil.htm http://www.fell-walker.co.uk/page67.htm that should wet your appetite..there are no maps for this area but the trail is circular and well marked and fine...
