Re: Men of the forum! - Do you wish you were like Bear Grylls?

He's the one who was caught out staying in a hotel when he was supposed to be roughing it, bit of a cheat if you ask me, Ray Mears programmes are always better.

Re: ACF-50 removal!

I use ACF50 all winter on my bike and the best cleaner you can use to take it off is SDOC100 available all over online or at your local Hein Gericke. Usally voted best bike cleaner in many product tests. I have never used a pressure washer on my bikes, blasting water into greased joints and any elec...

Re: Travel Insurance - Biker's or bog old standard?

Best bet is to call up, tell them exactly what you're doing, and make sure, with absolute certainty that you're covered. But maybe I'm over cautious. Re: Travel Insurance - Biker's or bog old standard?

I cant see what a dedicated motor bike travel insurance gives you over a standard travel insurance other than covering your bike clothing Standard travel insurance will not usually doesn't cover you for riding a bike over 125cc. Re: what was your first off road bike

A CZ 175 Trail which cost £284 new in 1976. I used to have one of them, a yellow one. I used to catch people out asking them to find the kickstarter :) It had a short rough life though. I once remember bump starting it with me at the side pushing it, it started and took off with out me into one of ...
